And the Verdict Is.....

It was a success! Now, if you like crispier bacon, you may not care for bacon in the crock pot. It does not get crispy at all, it just darkens a bit and gets to where it breaks apart real easy. But, the combination of flavors with the chicken, bacon, bacon grease, and dressing, was just heaven in our mouths! I did use quite a bit of bacon though and for me, it was a bit overwhelming. My husband however thought it was absolutely great. So you may want to lightly wrap some pieces and do some heavier, depending on preferences for those in your household. But overall, a definite success!
